I See You
Date Written November 2005 Length 2:55
This is a quite serious but nice song that I wrote in an attempt to write a normal song. It's probably quite good, but not the way I perform it.
Lyrics
Verse 1
Waking up to see a brand new day
Stay around 'til there's nothing left to say
I can tell just what you mean, but it seems to come out wrong
Like the words in a long forgotten song
The day it moves so soft and silently
But always there and watching over me
Chorus 1
Seeing how the cloudy nights keep drawing in the cold
All you need is something there to keep from growing old
It's not a place I know, but I want it to be true
Just imagine how it feels to be there
With sunlight shining through
And I see you
And I see you
Verse 2
I watch you playing like a little child
Not much, but enough to make you smile
Chorus 2
Looking through the window to a place you can be free
Just like I've found the door and now I'm looking for the key
It's not a place I know, but I want it to be true
Just imagine how it feels to be there
With sunlight shining through
And I see you
And I see you
