In his own words...

It's not easy to define one's self given only a few paragraphs to work with. So many things we never did, so many songs we never sang, so many girls we never kissed... It's easy for me though; I've got a whole website in which to indulge myself, and it's an opportunity I wish to grab with both hands.

I've never written an Oscar speech, so this style of writing is new territory for me. It's sad to think of the speeches we never heard, lost in the mists of time like a loser's ribbons at the cup final. I'll probably never win an Oscar though, and if I did, it wouldn't be for best actor, because I'm rubbish at acting.

Seriously though, I've been asked in many interviews to describe myself in three words. In one of the interviews for my current job, I was very impressed with my answer: "Attention To Detail", which I'd picked up as being a buzz-phrase very early on. It's lucky I had my head on at the time, in a previous situation I had delighted in answering "Lather, Rinse, Repeat (Always Repeat)", which, of course, is five words.

In summary, I see this chance to lay my mark on the world as being like a constitution for greatness. However, in this case there are no truths to be held as self-evident. Such a circular argument has no place on these pages. Were I  to describe myself in three words? "Repeat: Always Repeat."
